Hi Onkar,
After installing one software with some bug or whatever hodden trick it came with my google search results through Mozilla fire fox was changed from english to other language and country was changed from default Australia to Deustland(some country name). I tried all the ways to get normal search engine and search results then I came across your blog and atleast i could modify google.scr in mozilla directory. Now I am getting google australia as home page when searching and search results in english without any reference to Deustland country name(it was really annoying for one whole day looking at modified search results for reason unknown to me.
I used your suggestion tom edit google.scr. Thanks atleast I could work around the problem.
Now my query and curiosity is – is it possible to control or get back to normal serach google engine by any modifications in google.xml itself?

Hi Nehal,
Looks to me like you already have the solution. If you are getting Google Australia, then try replacing instances of “google.co.au” with “google.co.in” or “google.com”. That should fix it.
Oh, and “Deutschland” means Germany.

I have been selected for tech mahindra , during my college recruitments 2009 batch.
I have heard information that there is no confirmation of jobs for freshers due to recession in global economy. Me and my friends who are recruited(having received offer letters), r worried.Hope to see some reply for this.

Well, I see on the TechM Orkut communities that it is indeed so for a lot of freshers. There is not much you can do. Work on improving your skill. Get some training. Read some books. Try for jobs elsewhere and join those if TechM is not giving you a joining date.
Sitting at home and worrying will not help, will it?
